WHO WE ARE
I'm Buse Balbay, founder of Balbay Consulting Ltd. I bring over 10 years of experience across business and compliance, combined with deep sector knowledge, to deliver practical, high-impact solutions for businesses that need them.
Our Story
Balbay Consulting was founded by Buse Balbay after years spent working inside the head offices of international banks in Turkey. That experience exposed a gap in the market: in-house teams have deep business and compliance expertise but rarely the time to act on it, while outside consultancies can offer that time and capacity but often lack real regulatory depth.
Buse built Balbay Consulting to close that gap — a boutique firm that combines hands-on banking experience with the speed and flexibility larger consultancies cannot match. She holds an ICA Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering and is a former affiliate member of the International Compliance Association (ICA) in London. Alongside her practical experience, she has undertaken formal training and certifications in strategic planning, risk management, business planning, and business compliance.
Today, Balbay Consulting helps small and medium-sized businesses navigate compliance with the same rigor, delivered with the speed and affordability of a boutique practice. It also shares practical insights on compliance and business structure, focusing on how organisations can build effective, scalable frameworks without unnecessary complexity.
